Unlike a lot of women I’m stoked to be getting older because life honestly just keeps getting better. I think it personally helps that I find older women incredibly attractive and so I’m not suffering under the illusion that my appearance will loose all it’s value with the onset of grey hairs and wrinkles. I love to see a woman with silver streaking her hair and I have a real fascination with naughty Nana’s. So even though I only have about five greys at the moment they are a source of pleasure for me and I have to stop other people from offering to pull them out. I can think of nothing more depressing than if it were true that your teens and twenties were the best years of your life! If that was the case for you then I recommend you live your life differently from here on in because it certainly doesn’t have to be true. I watched the movie Harold & Maude this week and Maude is everything I endeavour to be as I grow older it has inspired more excitement and curiosity for the next 50/60 years I’ve got on this planet. I even contemplated today just how damn epic it would be to make it compos mentis to a century! This makes me recall the century project by Frank Cordelle that a dear friend of mine shared with me a few years ago now. My favourite part of the photo collection is the older women and their bodies…I find a number of those ladies damn attractive too.
When I was 22 I set these ten things to achieve before I was 30 1) Go back and finish high school 2) Get into a good university and get a degree 3) Sky dive 4) Scuba dive 5) Get a driving license 6) Write a book 7) Get my book published 8)Quit smoking 9) get a sleeve tattoo 10) learn a language
I did not get them all done I haven’t yet finished writing a book or published it of course and I don’t have a driving license or a sleeve tattoo but I learnt two languages. So here is the new list I wrote when I was 30 for things to do by the time I’m 40
1) Start my own website 2) Get a driving license 3)Finish writing my first novel 4) Get novel published 5) Write a screenplay 6) Make an independent movie 7) Learn to sail 8)Buy a home that floats 9) Learn French and Spanish 10) Learn to play the violin and Harmonica
So I’m on course so far but I’m going to be a busy to get it all done, not that it bothers me because it damn sure sounds like fun doesn’t it?
